There had to be a loser in this one but both starters in Red Legs Tony Cingrani and Dodgers Chris Cuapano both get game balls for there attempts to give their squads the best chance to win. They leave the Bump with goose eggs on the board as Cingrani had a season-high eleven strike outs. Both Pens held up and then in the bottom half of the 11th guess who sent everyone down the 405 or an LA Freeway near you...Yasiel Puig goes Walk-Off Job for the game-winner.

The Red Legs Starter in Cingrani and Relievers struck out twenty Dodgers ..2...Zero and have nothing to show for it but a loss. The Reds were a combined 3 for 35 and the Dodgers 5 for 35 so this one was a pitchers dream. The Dodgers lead the NL West by 2 1/2 and the D-Backs or Rockies need to put the brakes on them before they runaway with the Division. Meanwhile the Reds are just five out in the Central thanks to Fish and Braves doing work over the weekend.

The Oakland Athletics are slowly but surely moving into that countdown you know the one in September that puts teams in the "Fight for October" Tourney. The Halos have everything going wrong for them in 2013. The Halos go up 5-0 after two innings only to see the A's finish out on a 10-1 run to take three out of four from the Halos and the AL West lead to six full games just like that as the Rangers have lost four in a row. To make matters worse for the Halos "El Hombre" Albert Pujols may be out for the rest of 201 with a foot problem and that might seal the Halos fate.

A's OF and 2013 HR Derby Champ Yoenis Cespedes led the A's with a 3 for 4 performance including four ribbies. A's Starter Jarrod Parker went five innings after a horrendous first two frames. Halos Starter Tommy Hanson and J.C. Guiterrez didn't fare much better as they gave up a combined a 9  runs as Parker only gave up six. Can anyone stop the A's moving forward in the west as it looks like it only up to the Rangers.
