The 2013 WNBA All-Star Game was filled with Sparks as Candace "CP3" Parker gets the All-Star Game M.V.P. as the Naperville, Illinois Native gets a game-high 23 points, eleven boards, and three helpers as the West gets by the East 102-98. Parker's Teammate and Sparks Guard Kristi Toliver added 21 points as she was also in the running for M.V.P..

The game was a see saw affair as the West didn't take control of the game until under the five minute mark in the 4th frame. The East was led by excellent guard play from Mystics PG Ivory Latta and Chicago Sky sniper and smooth operator Epiphany Prince as they both net 15 points. Also for the East the Atlanta Dream Duo of Angel McCoughtry (11 pts 8 rebs 2 assts) and Brazil's Erika de Souza (13 pts 8 rebs 4 assts) dominated play for the East and there is a reason why the Sky and Dream are the two best going East in the WNBA.

For the West after Parker and Toliver the WNBA's Best Team at the Break the Minnesota Lynx (14-3) Trio was in the game and played extremely well. Seimone Augustus (12 pts 4 rebs), Maya Moore (14 pts 5 rebs), and Lindsey Whalen (8 pts) played a huge role in the West Teams effort to get the "W".

Former Three-Peat Champion Tina Thompson of the Clutch City Houston Comets now a member of the Seattle Storm made her last appearance in the All-Star Game with her record 9th Trip as she will call it quits after this season.
