The Detroit Tigers are starting to put some W's together as they try and pull away from the 2nd place Tribe in the AL Central and seeing the Pale Hose at this present moment is a good kick starter.

The Tigers get a three-run bomb from First Baseman "Prince of the D" in the top half of the first off Pale Hose Starter John Danks and Solo Shots from Austin Jackson and Torii Hunter as the Tigers roll to a 6-2 victory. Tigers RHP Anibal Sanchez didn't need that much run support but it didn't hurt. Sanchez went six innings allowing six hits, a walk, and striking out five Sox hitters. Prince also led the Tigers with three ribbies in this one.

The Sox LHP John Danks continues to struggle and the Sox are on the hook for Danks and that contract (5-years $65 million signed before 2012...that's a Bad Contract). He went seven innings giving up all six runs on eleven hits as he struck out three but also gave up three "TATERS". The Pale Hose are 39-59 as we go to press and 16 games out of first. With the MLB Trade Deadline a week away the Pale Hose have to be shopping Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko one would think.

The Tigers stay 3 1/2 games up on the Tribe with Verlander going against Peavy and lookout Sox!
