Just like that the "Boys in Blue" the L.A. Dodgers come hot off All-Star Break and blow the doors off the Nationals in D.C. 9-2 today and that as good enough to complete a three game sweep. Dodgers CF Stud Matt Kemp right of the DL like a Krispy Kreme "HOT" was 3 for 3 with three RBI's and a solo bomb in the 2n of Nats twelve game winner Jordan Zimmermann. Hanley Ramirez followed Kemp in the 2nd frame with a three-run moon blast to left and they chased Zim after two innings. Zim gave up 7 runs on eight hits and two left the premises.

Dodgers LHP Clayton Kershaw went seven strong striking out nine and giving up two runs as Nats OF Jayson Werth hit two solo bombs of Kershaw. The Dodgers now move into a tie with the Arizona Diamondbacks who plays later today atop the NL West. Since June 22 when the Dodgers were nine back in the West they have gone 20-5 and climbed not in it but primed to take over the West and runaway with it.

The Dodgers now head to Toronto to play the Blue Birds while the Nats host the NL Central 2nd place Buccos.

Note: Dodgers OF Matt Kemp who just came off the DL had a bad sprained ankle at a play at the plate and will have an MRI as he bad luck continues.
