The Sacramento Kings exit Summer League 702 by beating the Atlanta Hawks and a good sign was 2013 1st Round pick Ben "Mac Attack" McLemore showed life of scoring in the Logo regardless if it was against the NBA"B" Teams scattered with a few Young Stars and a few rotation players. Mac ends up with a game-high 27 points in a 93-87 "W" for the Kings. The Hawks had their chances as they were led by Mike "Great" Scott's 25 points and ten boards while 2012 1st round shooter John Jenkins added 19 points. Kings Point guard Ray McCallum Jr. ended his Tourney opening all eyes running the point as he went double-double 12 points and eleven helpers.

360 Degrees...McCallum Jr was a 2010 McDonald's All-American and heavily recruited but decided to stay and play for Dad Ray McCallum Sr. who coached at nearby Detroit Mercy University. He can flat out play the Bluedude had him as one of the Top Lead Guards in the Draft Class of 2014 if he didn't go early...three and done.

Speaking of 360 degrees the Washington Wizards outlast the Pelicans of NOLA 78-77 as both will stage left Tourney 702 with an identical 2-3 records. The Wiz Kids were led by ex-Jazz and Nets and NBDL Star Sundiata Gaines who had 15 points. The Pelicans should have won the game and they get Maximum Effort from Austin Rivers who led all scorers with 23 points. The Wiz also had a productive Tourney from Bloodline Glen Rice Jr who had 14 points and a few trips taking the Elevator with no doorman (the Lob). The Pelicans get 15 from Darius Miller and 13 points from PG Brian Roberts who both played well throughout the tourney.
