The Golden State Warriors like all other Teams have to tighten up their cap with the new Luxury Tax Threshold an that cost them a solid prospect. The one good thing about auditioning in an NBA Summer League is the team your playing for is watching, other NBA teams are watching also, and other leagues around the World are also weighing in on new talent for the Teams and Organizations. Now having said all of that the #DUB of Golden State were the 2013 NBA Summer League Sin City Champs and they had a few players to stand out but one in particular.

Ian Clark the 2013 NBA Summer Finals Game M.V.P. (33 pts 7/10 3pt FG vs SUNS in Championship Game) couldn't sign with the Warriors as they are already loaded on the perimeter so what does Clark do. He did absolutely nothing but wait by the phone as the Utah Jazz liked his performance enough to reportedly sign Belmont (18.1 ppg as Senior) Point Guard to a two-year deal. He should fit in nice with the Jazz as they go completely young with 2013 Lottery Pick Trey Burke and 2011 1st rounder Alec Burks in their back court to start the season. Clark if he sticks should be right behind Burke in the rotation.

With 2nd year Combo G Kent Bazemore of the Warriors making 1st team All-Tourney 702 and #DUBnation signing 2013 Free Agent Andre Igoudala and Toney Douglas (he gets in Jarrett Jack's Slot) signed a week or so ago there just wasn't enough room for Clark on the Roster. A prototype pick and roll 2013 Point who has a lightning release, quick trigger, nice handle, and quick at the point of attack as well as a High Basketball IQ...he should fit well in the Logo playing that style and position.

Excellent move Salt Palace JAZZ...follow on Twitter @iclark21 #JazzNation and give him a shout #DUBnation
