The Chicago Sky have been handling their Business and this season of 2013 has been better than any other season in SKY History as they now are in 1st place in the east a 1/2 game above the WNBA Defending Champion Atlanta Dream.

The Sky get 23 points and six boards from Rook Star SF Elena Delle Donne and 12 points apiece from Carol Sword and Eyasha Murphy on their way to a 75-55 "W" in NYC. The Sky opened the contest blowing the doors off the Liberty as they were up 34-11 as Delle Donne netted ten points in the 1st frame. The Sky then had a power outage like the one in the last Super Bowl except the Lights stayed on in this one scoring only seven points in the 2nd frame. The Sky up at half 41-25 put the game away with a 22-13 run in the 3rd and that gave them their 11th win on the season. The Liberty was led by Plenette Pierson and Kelsey Bone each getting eleven points.

Up next for the Sky is the Liberty in a Back to Back Home Series on Saturday July 20th at 8pm et at All STate Arena.

Note: Sky Center Sylvia Folwes out with a sprained ankle ruled "DNP" Ankle Injury...
