After a Brock Holt two-run HR in the 3rd and a two-run Bomb by Jackie Bradley Jr. in the 5th and those sandwiched in between a 2-run 4th by the Carmines...Boston was too Strong for the depleted Rays on Saturday at Fenway. Then to make matters worse the Rays faced a Bo Sox Starter that was dealing!
Rubby De La Rosa out of nowhere shuts down the Tamp Bay Rays Offense as that Sox Offense spotted him seven runs through five. Tampa didn't get to De La Rosa as he went seven strong allowing no runs on four hits striking out eight. It was rays OF Kevin Kiemaier that broke up that shutout with a Solo Shot of Sox Middle Man Alex Wilson.
Rays Starter Jake Odorizzi takes the "L" going just 3 1/3 innings allowing five runs on six hits as he struck out six and walked one. The Bo Sox move to 26-29 as they try and make up for that 10-game skid through May. Rays trying to stay afloat with Starter Matt Moore out of 2014 and both Will Myers and Yunel Escobar due back any day now.
