In all my years of watching Ice Games I have never seen a Team as much as the 2013-14 L.A. Kings consistently dig holes and patiently dig themselves right out of the hole. The Blue Shirts led 2-0 after the 1st Period as the Kings came storming back in the 2nd Jarret Stoll goal to make it 2-1 Rangers. The Blue Shirts answered right back with a Martin St. Louis Slapper to make it 3-1. Kings Willie Mitchell made it 3-2 and right before the end of the 2nd it was Rangers Derick Brassard just 11 seconds after the Mitchell Goal to make it 4-2 at the end of the 2nd Blue Shirts!

The Kings just two minutes into Period Three gets a Dwight King score to make it 4-3 Rangers and here come the "Cardiac Kids on Ice at Staples L.A.". Six Minutes after that score Marian Gaborik scores to tie the score up at 4-4. Then in the 2nd Extra Period it was a Willie Mitchell Slapper redirected by Captain Dustin Brown for a Monarch Winner and a 2-0 series lead. King Henrik had no shot of stopping the redirect and the Rangers need to regroup.

Lundqvist stopped 39-44 SOG while Monarchs Net Minder Jonathan Quick stopped 34 of 38 SOG. The Kings juts won't stop as the "Broadway Bullies" are finding out you need to keep scoring in order to beat them.
