The New York Yankees as we go to press are 77-61 just 1.5 games behind the AL East leading Blue Birds of Toronto and that's the good news. The bad news is the sore lower leg that has kept Yanks Star first baseman Mark Teixeira out since mid-to-late August 2k15 has been discovered and its "Tex" and the Yanks worst nightmare.

Through a few different media outlets the sore leg for "Tex" has been discovered as a Right Shin Fracture. That foul ball that went off that shin in August as "Tex" played on it a few games after will cost "Tex" and the Yanks the rest of the 2K15 season. That is the sobering news for a team that is in the hunt for another AL East Pennant.

Moving forward the Yanks will keep Rookie Greg Bird (.241 avg 5 HR 17 RBI 15 Runs) at first but losing "Tex" and these numbers (.255 avg 31 HR 79 RBI 57 Runs .906 OPS) is irreplaceable. The Yanks now hope the Power Numbers will come from A-Rod (30 HR) and Bob McCann (25 HR) with help from Stephen Drew (17 HR) and Carlos Beltran (15 HR).
