All the talk this off season when talking San Francisco 49ers was who left the building or retired or even went across the bay to play for that other squad. Now after 60 minutes of #NinersInBlack do you have a pretty good idea who these guys are and where they might be headed?

After a slow start by both teams the San Francisco 49ers took the goose eggs of the scoreboard late in the 2nd frame right before intermission as former Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde goes 10 yards for the score making it 7-0 Niners.

That score would remain through the 3rd as a Phil Dawson FG made it 10-0 and the Vikings offense at this juncture in the game was sputtering to say the least. That Niners "D" led by D-Coordinator Eric Mangini slowed down everything in purple including the Twin Cities Avenger Adrian Peterson.

Peterson only rushed for 31 yards on ten carries as he had to be chomping at the bit to get loose and never did. As long as #53 NaVorro Bowman is in the middle of that "D" the Niners will be just fine.  Five different players had a Red Jersey Collection as Mangini was bringing nothing but heat from the Niners Secondary as they had two of the five.

Vikes QB Teddy Bridgewater looked at times "Deer in the Headlights" as the Niners Pressure was too much. He passed for 231 yards on 23 of 32 and an INT on a horrible throw across the middle. If anything changes in Week 2 for the Purple People you can bet A.P. will eat at least 25-30 carries.

Niners Empire had to like what they saw from #7 as QB Colin Kaepernick was excellent throwing for 165 yards on 17 for 26 as his RB Hyde (26 car 168 yds 2 TD) is a nice 1-2 punch running that Read Option. The Vikes "D" just got worn down as it look like the Niners from three years ago playing.

Looking ahead San Fran travels to Pittsburgh in what should be a better game than some people thought. Skol Vikings get the rival Lions for the Vikes 2K15 home opener...
