From the Washington Nationals Perspective I do not have any idea how you would characterize this loss as they all count in 162 but in September some losses just take their toll. Well the Nats looking to move back within four games of the Amazins' after Nats starter Jordan Zimmermann left in the 6th leading 7-1 everything looked solid.

The Nats took that 7-1 lead into the 6th after they played the Joker and hammered the "Dark Knight" in Mets RNP Matt Harvey. They hit the "Dark Knight" with three in the first two frames leading 3-1 and that was after Mets hot corner David Wright took "Zim" deep for a Solo Bomb.

Then a wild play in the 6th as a Michael Taylor two RBI single turned into all four runners scoring including Taylor and Nats Park was going straight Nut Factory after that. That frame was highlighted by Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes Fielding error! One would have though after that episode the Mets will run and hide no not these 2k15 Mets looking like the '86 World Champion Mets talking that "Never say Die" Attitude!

The Mets in turn go off in the 7th scoring a crooked six answering to the Nats crooked four they put up in the 6th. The Mets six run 7th was powered by the same man who had the Fielding error in the 6th in Yoenis Cespedes as two Mets runs were in when Cespedes goes bases-loaded clearing two-bagger as the Amazins' trailed by one 7-6. Cesepedes would score on a bases loaded walk and the game was tied at 7-7.

Then in the 8th with Nats Skip Matt Williams going for it newly-acquired Reliever Jonathan Papelbon gives up a Kirk Nieuwenhuis GW solo Big Fly and just like that Mets 8-7.  Amazins' Captain Save-A-Game Jeurys Familia would get his 38th save in the 9th capping a win for the ages and a "W" that symbolizes these 2015 Amazins'!

Mets move to 77-61 as the Nats fall to 71-67 falling back six full games...
