The Chicago Cubs had to have had Uncle Mo with them on the Charter to St. Louis last night after the three-piece sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks. "Maddon Ball" didn't use the Phone Booth as they came right out and took Redbirds starter Lance Lynn to the "Muddy" Mississippi for cleansing!

It started on a Lead-Off Bomb by Cubbies CF Dexter Fowler and from there the flood gates ensued. Fowler would go two RBI double in the 2nd and after two it Fowler 3 Baseball Town U.S.A. zero. Then in the 3rd as they chased Lynn the Cubbies hang a crooked five to the delight of Cubs Nation in attendance powered by an Addison Russell three-run "Tater" off of Seth Maness.

Cubbies starter Dan Haren reaching back to his A's and Diamondback Days was sensational going seven and allowing seven hits as the Redbirds had a goose egg on the board when he left. Now the Plot thickens as the Cubbies move to 2 games back of the 2nd place Pirates who lost to the Red Stockings in Cincy.

The Redbirds will try and stop the bleeding as they have Michael Wacha and Carlos Martinez going in the next two games as Baseball Town U.S.A. has lost three of four...
