The Washington Nationals already running on fumes to be a participant in the October Hardball for 2K15 is still going for it. They are 8.5 games out in the NL Wild Card and 7.5 games out in the NL East but that hasn't stopped one individual for going for one of the premier awards in the Show.

Nats All-Star RF Bryce Harper dba "Bam 34" is back on fire as we near the end of 162. He his two Bombs yesterday off of 'Phils Pitching and tonight added another. A two-run blast off 'Phils reliever Justin De Fratus.  Yes the Nats won 12-2 but "Bam 34" is hitting a robust .338 with 40 bombs and 92 RBI with 108 runs and an off the charts OPS 1.134.

As for the game the Nats hung up crooked numbers in the 5th through the 8th breaking up a 2-2 tie after four. Nats starter Gip Gonzalez moves to 11-7 as the Phightin' Phils fall to 56-91 with starter Alec Asher falling to 0-4.

As the Nats move to 75-70 winners of four in a row not counting them out as the Amazins' have lost three in a row as we go to press...stay tuned!
