The Kansas City Royals just needed a run as starter Kris Medlen went back to his Braves Country Days on the Cleveland Indians and was on his A-Game! Medlen would go 6 1/3 scattering just five hits  allowing not a run. Then he gave way the best Pen in the Show when they are on and they go the rest of the way for a 2-0 shutout. Royals Captain Save-A-Game Greg Holland  notches his 31st save...

Those two Royals runs were both off of Tribe starter Josh Tomlin as he gave up those two runs going Complete Job all nine frames. It was Royals back stop Salavador Perez RBI single in the 2nd that opened the scoring. Then in the 4th Alex Rios back from the D.L. gets his 4th "Tater" of 2015 taking Tomlin deep for a solo blast.

K.C. moves to 85-59 and has the AL Central all but wrapped up. The Tribe at 71-72 is just five games back of the #2 in the AL Wild Card Texas Rangers...

MLB Heads Kris Medlen with Johnny Cueto and that Royals Pen...extra special in October!
