The Oklahoma City Thunder have put themselves right where they need to be after trailing the Spurs at All-Star Break by 3 games they are now right there. The Spurs on the other hand were cruising until Spurs Point God TP9 goes down and now they are running on Fumes as we get to Crunch Time and close to winning Time in the Logo. The Bluedude has said this before that "Excuses are Tools for the Incompetent and the Spurs never have any as they are as solid as they come.

PLAYBOOK

The Thunder have been playing well and this is the Time to do so as they have reeled off five in a row and now get the TP9-Less Spurs. The Spurs will go into Survival Mode as they know they must stay at the top or close to the top. They need the home Court Advantage in Winning Time like everyone does.

The Spurs have been going with 3rd year PG Corey Joseph but the Guards got torched by Rip City Blazers Rookie PG Damian Lillard as he went for 35 points. Now the Spurs Guards will get Uncle Russ of Thunder Up and Jordan Brand and he is a Bull in the Logo Shop as you give Russ 30 he will get 50. Can the Spurs use Defensive Specialist D.G. of AT & T ...Spurs 2G Danny Green on Uncle Russ an slow him down? Thunder 2G Thabo Sefolosha will most likely get Green on Defense but the Spurs must figure out how they are going to play Westbrook as he has to be licking his chops.

KD will get Up and Coming Star Spurs SF Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs have to force KD to play Kawhi on the defensive end. The Wild Card is Manu Ginoboli as he will get the Bulk of the Minutes and don't be surprised if the Spurs don't start Manu. Thunder 2G Kevin Martin and PG Reggie Jackson are starting to get the 2nd Unit going for the Thunder and now the Spurs Top Flight Bench has moving parts with TP9 out.

Tim Duncan will get Serge Ibaka and the Thunder like that match up as Dunc has to carry more of an Offensive Load in that front court. Perk will get Splitter and the Spurs will try to go to the much improved Brazilian as he has a new found Post Game. Can the Thunder win the Battle on the Glass and turn the Spurs over a lot? There is all kinds of Knowns in this one but it will be the Unknowns that make the biggest difference.

Game Time 830pm ET on NBA TV Tonight...
