Reportedly the Bears and GM Phil Emery listened to Urlacher and his People's Pitch and it was a 2-year North of $11 million and that was an absurd number coming from #54 and his People. The Bears reportedly offered #54 1-year $2 Million and Urlacher and his People countered that with 1-year and a reported $5 plus million.
Look Bears Nation all things must come to an end and at 35 years of age and #54 body breaking down the Bears should have cut him. Then if he doesn't get on with anyone you sign him for a Day and he retires as a Bear ASAP. His Play has decreased, the injuries have mounted , and a MLB who made $8 million in each of the last Three Seasons at ages 32-34 what's to cry about. Move on and from a Fans Standpoint its tough but for the Bears Brass and 53-Man Roster they need to put the best product on the field. See the GM gets fired if he has the wrong players out there and the Coach doesn't win if they don't have the best players out there for Bears Success in 2K13.
The Bluedude isn't trying to say cut him just because but for the word every Professional Athlete used when they are at a crossroad..."It's Business". 54 will go down as one of the great Bears Backers and players and leave it at that no matter if he suits up again in 2013 or not. Just my thinking he needs obviously a 4-3 Team and he is a 2-down Backer if that at this Stage of his Career.
