The Michigan Wolverines were not going to be denied on this day as they take the Gators to Sunday School 79-59. Its wasn't Burke, Hardaway Jr., Robinson III, or even McGary...but Freshman Shooter Nick Stauskas with 22 points. Stauskas carried Big Blue early and often going 6 for 6 with the Money Ball and seven for eight from the field. Michigan at one point in the game led in the 1st frame some 41-17 and it was over by then. Maize and Blue All-American Burke dod end up with 15 points, eight rebounds, and seven helpers. Michigan now will face the Syracuse Orange as the only Big Ten Team to make it.

The Chicago Blackhawks take a tough loss at home last Friday Night to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks but amends for that loss on Easter Sunday. So much for Red Wing Great Gordie Howe's Birthday as the Hawks beat the Wings in Hockey Town USA 7-1. The Hawks dominated in every facet of the game and put a crooked number up in all three frames. Hawks Dave Bolland scored twice and Toews once as Hawks Net Minder Crawford stopped 33 of 34 shots on goal.

Now the Hawks get two more points and move to 55 points for the Season and that put them one point behind the Pens who are at 56 points for most points in Ice Games 2012-13. Hawks lead the idle Ducks by six points as we go to press.

The Penguins are the talk of the NHL right now (with good reason), but don't forget about the Blackhawks! Stanley Cup here we come!
