The Injury Bug can be devastating and now it has hit Teams at Key Moments in Training Camp, Regular Season, or even Tourney Time. Let's take a quick look at Three Teams that are losing Key Players at key junctures in the Season.

Bronx Bombers...#2 Shortstop...Derek Jeter tried to get back for Opening Day on that surgically repaired Ankle and they Yanks have shut him down. He reportedly will start the Season on the Disabled List and the Yanks have another Star not ready for Opening Day 2K13. The Yanks will have no A-Rod, Granderson, Tex, and now #2 in that Line Up but they have the 2K13 WBC MVP in Robbie Cano...enough said!

LAKEShow...terrible news out of Laker Land is that Starting Power Forward Metta World Peace reportedly has a Torn Meniscus and will be out indefinitely. M.W.P. is probably the one player that the Lakers could ill afford to lose outside of the Black Mamba as they push to get into West Winning Time. The Lakers now will most likely go with A.J. Antawn Jamison at the Small Forward or move Earl Clark in that slot and go big with a Starting Line Up of KB24, NASHty, Dwight of Three Stripes, the Spaniard, and the "Earl of Staples".

The Miami Hurricanes get a huge blow as Back Up Front Court Player Reggie Johnson will miss the Sweet 16 and possibly the Elite 8 as he gets minor Knee Surgery. The "Canes have work to do but that is a big blow too the Rotation up front. Now reportedly of they get to the Final Four in ATL next week R.J. is a go but they have to get there first.
