Both Hawks Stars Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane get 3 pts each as the Hawks go into Colorado as the aggressive ones and control the game from start to finish. Another great game by Ray Emery (11-0-0) and the Hawks get back on track as they have "One Goal" in mind and that is to get to the "Fight for Lord Stanley" and win it.
The Avs have been having their issues as they extend their losing streak to four games. All this has happened since they ended the Hawks Point Streak about a week and a half ago. The hawks jumped out to an 2-0 lead behind Goals by Hayes and Shaw. The Avs get one right before the 1st intermission to make it 2-1. Patrick Kane gets goal 33 almost midway through the 2nd frame as Hawks Defensemen Seabrook (pictured left #7) gets goal #4 right under the 15 minute mark in the 2nd quarter. The Avs just like they did in Period 1 add another goal to make it 4-2 at the end of two.
The Hawks then put it away as Toews gets goal #5 late in the 3rd to make it the final...5-2. The Hawks now set up a showdown in Orange County on the Pond as they face the Anaheim Ducks. Anyone in Blackhawk Nation want to go for a little Duck Hunting? That match up is Wednesday Night 10pm ET. Hawks have 51 points and the Ducks #2 in the West with 44 points.
