The Miami Heat are trying to tie and beat the 33 Wins straight by the 71-72 Lakers who then had one current Heat President on the Roster in Pat Riley. They have six more games to go and it looks like they have Two more tough opponents in their way in the Bulls (March 27) and the Spurs (April 2) that give them problems. If the Heat get the Record where would they rank All-Time amongst the Logo's Winningest Teams in an 82-Game Season?

The List is led by none other than the 1995-96 Bulls that had an NBA Record 72-10 and surprisingly enough that same team came back in 1996-97 and went 69-13 and narrowly missed another 70-win season. Then people are always talking about who had the best run ever in the Logo..Ok!  The Bulls rank at #1 and tied for #2 with those 71-72 Lakers. I know what your thinking as how many times the C's, Lakers, and Bulls are in the Top 10?

The Top 10 NBA Teams by Record

1. Bulls (95-96) 72-10

2. Lakers (71-72) 69-13

2. Bulls (96-97) 69-13

4. 76ers (66-67) 68-13

5. the C's (72-73) 68-14

6. the C's (85-86) 67-15

6. Bulls (91-92) 67-15

6. Lakers (99-00) 67-15

9. Bucks (70-71) 66-16

9. the C's (07-08) 66-16

9. Cavs (08-09) 66-16

Yes I threw the Cavs in there because King James had the Q on fire as he did C-Town and of course later Cavs Nation put something else on fire but that's neither here nor there.

Jordan had Two of the Top Two Records ever when he came back from the Show and that 95-96 Bulls Team was the Best Bulls Team and a Top Three in the logo All-Time.

That 71-72 Lakers Squad had a Top Three Back Court of All-Time in Elgin Baylor and Jerry West aka the "Logo".

The 66-67 Sixers had a Man in the Middle by the name of the Late Great Wilt "20K" Chamberlain. Also they had Hal Greer, Billy C the "Kangaroo Kid", and Chet Walker.

The 72-73 C's had John Havlicek, Dave Cowens, and Paul Silas

The 85-86 C's had Larry Legend, DJ, Danny, Chief, and McHale among others....

The 91-92 Bulls Team was centered around Mike, Scottie and Horace Grant along with John Paxson and Bill Cartwright.

The 99-00 Lakers was Shaq and Kobe's 1st Chip as "Showtime" transformed into the "LAKEshow"

The Bucks 70-71 Team was led by "Sky Hook" and the "Big O"...that is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson.

The 07-08 C's were led by the New Big Three...KG, the Truth, and Sugar Ray along with a young PG names Rajon Rondo and a Big nicknamed Perk.

The 08-09 Cavs were led by King James...who else?

360 Degree Nuggets....

The Zen Master..Phil Jackson coached four of the ten Teams on the List with the Bulls being three of those Teams...See Red...Always!

The Heat if they win out would be at #5 tied with the 72-73 C's....at 68-14

Note: W-L Records from Basketball-Reference.com...name dropping the Bluedude
