The Eagles did it this time as the Hunter and Hunted as the Aztecs thought they could run with them and they quickly found out that was the wrong idea. Down by one at the Break the Eagles went on a furious run that looked like a scene at the EBC Rucker gone mad as it was Money Balls, Dunks, No-Look Dimes, Crossover Dribbles, and most if not all were from the SDSU "Live Turnover" Bag.
FGCU was led by their Guard Play and behind PG Brett Comer's 10 points and fourteen helpers. The Fourteen Helpers were a mix between the Rucker, your Local Rec, and the Black Top as Comer went through, around, and over Aztec Defenders in the 2nd half with a flourish. Sherwood Brown also had 17 points and eight rebounds while Guard Bernard Thompson led FGCU with 23 points. SDSU was led by their leading scorer Jamal Franklin's 20 points.
Now the FGCU Eagles will head to the South Regional Semi's where they will get the big bad Florida Gators an Lead man Billy Donovan. What a Story and right now its all about FGCU against all odds and can they surprise the Gators for a huge Upset in the Regional Semi's.
