The Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes were in a lot of brackets moving forward as that was suppose to be the East Regional Final. Well the Big East Big Dawgs had different plans as the Marquette Golden Eagles and Syracuse Orange had other ideas.

Behind an Offense that was aggressive and in Attack Mode an the 'Canes not hitting any shots the Marquette Golden Eagles advance to the East region Finals. Plain and simple the Eagles went right at the 'Canes and they knock the "U" down and they never recovered. The 'Canes picked the worst time to go cold as they shot some 35% from the Field and because they were playing from behind and trying to make amends for bas 2-point shooting they went 8 for 26 from the Arc. The Plan for the Eagles was attack the Paint and the Offensive Glass and they only shot six money balls and made three.

The Eagles two Top Players, Jamil Wilson and Vander Blue, led Marquette with 16 and 14 points respectively. Shane Larkin led the 'Cans with 14 points as they play arguably their worst game in months.

Speaking of the Big East the Syracuse Orange will meet the Golden Eagles in the Finals as they took it right to the #1 East Seed Hoosiers early and the Hoosiers never recovered. 'Cuse had the same plan they have been using for Years under Jimmy B and that is to get up big early and let the Hoosiers try to figure out that patented 2-3 match up 'Cuse Zone. The Hoosiers didn't as they looked dazed and confused and the Orange walk right into the East Finals.

The Hoosiers I think were exposed a little by the Temple Owls (who the Hoosiers beat in the 3rd round in Dayton, Ohio last week) and that opened up the Game Plan for the Orange. Fabulous 2011 Big Mac from Toronto Michael Carter-Williams led the Orange with 24 points, six rebounds, and four thefts. Bloodline Triche also came up big as he has been for the Season adding 14 points. The Hoosiers might have played the best back court they have seen all season minus the Louisville back court of Siva and Smith in Carter-Williams and Triche. Indiana gets 16 points from Victor Oladipo, 13 points from Watford, and 9 points and ten boards from Cody Zeller. A Disappointing end for the Hoosiers Big-Time Regular Season.
