There are a few lead stories going into Elite 8 Part Two as the Big Ten is 0-2 in the Sweet 16 and 0-1 in the Elite 8 after having four teams headed into the Sweet 16. The Wolverines hold all the Big Ten Cards and we will see how that plays out. The Gators beat In-State Upstart FGCU Eagles and "Billy Ball:" is once again in familiar territory.

The 2nd half of today's Elite 8 pairs arguably the Two Best Coaches at the Division -1 Major Level in Louisville's Rick Pitino and Duke's Mike Krzyzewski. The Cards come in playing the best of the #1 Seeds (all Number One Seeds are out of Tourney) and they are playing just 2 hours from Home in NAPtown. The Blue Devils have been getting better and better as the tourney has moved forward and Plumlee and Curry have been the Stars.

Maize and Blue WOLVERINES vs "Billy Ball" GATORS

This will be brief as the Gators must do what Kansas couldn't do and that is to stop Columbus, Ohio Native Trey Burke of Big Blue. He simply took over the Game on Friday Night vs the Jayhawks late and played well in all Pick and Rolls up to that point. Gators Lead Man Donovan has seen this before and it will be interesting to see how he defends Burke. The Gators must all so worry about "Bloodline" in Tim Hardaway Jr. and Glenn Robinson III. Both are capable as they strike in spots and can impact the game in so many ways like Burke. The Gators must not let the Maize and Blue leak out or run out into easy transition buckets. The Gators best Guard former 2008 Big Mac and St. Anthony's Jersey City, NJ  and Rutgers Transfer PG Mike Rosario and 2009 Big Mac Scorer Kenny Boynton.

In the Paint the Gators have a decided advantage with Patric Young leading the way. The Wolverines will counter with Freshman Big Mitch McGary (25 pts 14 rebs Friday Night on KU's Jeff Withey) who was a man vs Rock Chalk. Joining Young will be Senior PF Erik Murphy and the Gators can go Inside and Out and they are very balanced and will adjust to darn there anything. This will be another barn burner near Big D.

Duke BLUE DEVILS vs the 'Ville CARDINALS

Three Names in this one to start...Duke's Sharpshooter Seth Curry and Louisville's Dynamic Duo of Peyton Siva and Russ Smith. The Cards must slow down Curry to have Duke under control. The Dukies in turn must find a way to stop the "502 Cape Crusaders" in Siva and Smith. The Game will be won and list with Guard Play and the Cards have a distinct advantage here.

In the Front Court Duke has Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee but hardly no quality depth behind them. Can all that Length and Athleticism from the 'Ville slow down and get to those two outstanding front court players? The Cards will come with Center Gorgui Dieng and Super-Soph Forwards Chane Behanan and Wayne Blackshear. The Dukies must be aware of Behanan and Blackshear at all times as one is Perimeter-Oriented (Blackshear) and the other is all in the paint playing above the Rim with Strength (Behanan).

Must-See TV right here and the Cards have been a runaway Train and their Bread and Butter for Louisville besides the "Kentucky Derby" is that Vaunted Zone Press after makes and even after misses. Duke Guards and Players have to be aware of this and handle that pressure.
