The Ohio State Buckeyes are at it again and I don;t care what anyone says Buckeyes Lead man Thad Matta has a machine in Columbus. The Buckeyes stay the course down just 38-34 at the break to comeback to beat the Wildcats 73-70 with a last second Money Ball as they only do around this time of year.

Led by Super Junior DeShaun Thomas' 20 points, reserve Q-Ross' 17 points, and the steady hand of Mr. Craft-y with 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists the Buckeyes hold off the 'Cats who played well all the way up to the final horn. The Difference in the game was a play here...and a play there. Both Teams played hard and 'Cats Lead Man (a former Lead Assistant under Thad Matta at Ohio State) Sean Miller had the right game plan it just took a shot at the end to beat them.

The 'Cats were led by PG Mark Lyons' 23 points and All-Pac 10 SF Solomon Hill's 16 points.       Numbers wise the game was even a mirror image as the Buckeyes will play MVC Power the Wichita State Shockers.

The Shockers will get the Buckeyes full attention as they go wire to wire to beat the tough and talented A-10 's LaSalle Explorers 72-58. The Shockers do it like they have been all season with their guard play. Behind Malcolm Armstead's 18 points, Carl Hall's 16 points, and 13 points from Rod Baker. The Shockers hold a LaSalle Explorers Team to under 40% from the Field and the Arc. The Shockers had a 16 point lead at the
Breal and about time the Explorers appeared comforatble it was too late. LaSalle was led by Jerrell Wright and Tyrone Garland's 16 points apiece. Explorer Star Guard Ramon Galloway only had 11 points on 4 for 15 from the field.

The Buckeyes and Shockers now will go at it Saturday Afternoon in L.A. for the West Region Title.
