The Indiana Hoosiers have the Top Two Players in the East Region and have a bulls eye are their backs. They have been playing with that same bulls eye through Big Ten play. The Bracket is loaded with a few teams the Hoosiers have played already as they are the clear favorite to win the East.

The Miami Hurricanes have the ACC Player of the Year in PG Shane Larkin and they are Big. The Hoosiers and 'Canes would be the best match up for both but we will see how it plays out. The Marquette Warriors are tough as is Syracuse, Butler, NC State, Temple, and the Buffs of Colorado.

The East Region is sponsored..the Hoosiers Striped Warm Up Pantolones...since the early 70s.

EAST REGION

1 Indiana
16 TBD

The Hoosiers are loaded and they embody what a Number One should have in its arsenal. A Dominant Big or Back court. They play tough Defense and they are battled tested. It doesn't matter who they get from the play-in game as the Hoosier are built for a deep deep run. (pictured Zeller left and Oladipo right for the IU Hoosiers).

8 NC State
9 Temple

This will be the best game in the East region and one of the Top of the opening round games. Temple has the the A-10 Player of the Year and the Wolfpack played well in the half rugged ACC. I would give the edge to Temple with their style.

5 UNLV
12 Cal

The Rebels have one of the best Freshman and Front Court Players in the NCAA in Former Findlay Prep Star Anthony Bennett (pictured right and played in the 2012 McDonald's All-American Game) at PF/SF. the Golden Bears have played well in the Pac 12 and they are a balanced bunch. Another 5/12 donnybrook.

4 'CUSE
13 Montana

The Orangemen are always a problem with that Style of D they play that patented 2-3 match up extended Zone. The Grizzles will have to get out in Transition so they don;t have to solve that Zone very time down. The Key will be stopping the 'Cuse in transition.

6 Butler
11 Bucknell

The Butler Bulldogs are no longer a surprise and they will get Bucknell's best shot. Can Brad Steven's Group rekindle the March Madness Magic they have had in previous years and get on a run? They beat the Hoosiers earlier in the Season and its only fitting the Committee would put them in IU's Bracket.

3 Marquette
14 Davidson

The Marquette Warriors finished another strong Big East Year and they they will be a tough out as they play mostly guards and forwards. Davidson can shoot it well from the Perimeter but the Warriors match up well with almost anybody starting three guards.

7 Illinois
10 Colorado

The Illini get a tough draw here as the Pac 12's New Addition the Buffs of Boulder have played well in the Conference and they have really good guards.

2 Miami FL
15 Pacific

The Hurricanes are built like an NBA Team with Size, a solid OG, Shooters, and they play that Pick an Roll Style. Can Pacific stay with the 'Canes the 2013 ACC Regular Season Champs and Tourney Champs. They have been through the ACC like a hot knife through butter with Six Seniors and All-American PG Shane Larkin (pictured right Son of HOF SS Red Barry Larkin).

1 IU
9 Temple        1IU

5 UNLV       5UNLV      1 IU
4 'Cuse
                                                            2 Miami FL
6 Butler
3 Marquette    6 Butler          2 Miami Fl

10 Colorado   2 Miami FL
2 Miami FL

The 'Canes will be dominant and they will get the Hoosiers and they match up with them extremely well. Now the Road Blocks are Syracuse, Temple, UNLV, Marquette, and Butler as they are all capable of pulling the Rug from under you.
