The Big Ten and Big East had the most Teams invited to the Dance and after 50 Teams fall the Big 10 is still standing as is the big East with their Elite Teams minus what Sir Charles is talking about. The Hoosiers, Sparty, Maize and Blue, and Buckeyes all advance as expected and it would be safe to say 1/2 of the four will be in Atlanta for a possibility of bringing the Big 10 home a Men's Basketball National Championship. The Cards, Golden Eagles, and 'Cuse all advance for the big East.

The Big East was a top-heavy Conference as the usual suspects make the Sweet 16 in the Louisville Cardinals, Syracuse Orange, and Marquette Warriors. Out of the three the Golden Eagles of Marquette  was the 4th best Team in many eyes behind the two aforementioned teams and the Georgetown Hoyas.

The ACC is well represented by Regular Season and Tourney Champion the Miami Hurricanes. They are followed by the Duke Blue Devils as expected. Both teams were easily the two best teams in a down year for the ACC. The 'Canes just get by a feisty Illini Bunch and forget the call and shouldn't have been that close. Duke and Miami are heavy Favorites to get top Atlanta in many brackets.

Then there is the Pac 12 with a #6 Arizona Wildcats and a hidden Top 5 seed in #12 the Oregon Ducks. The NCAA Tourney Committee had the Ducks on a 12 line when they are easily a Top 6 seed at worst. The PAC 12 Tourney Champs should have been in front of Arizona's Seed for sure. The Ducks now have a tough draw in the Louisville Cardinals while the 'Cats get Big Ten Tourney Champion the Ohio State Buckeyes. Pac 12 your will be on the clock from here on out.

The Rest of the Field is rounded out by lone Representative of the SEC in the Florida Gators as Billy Donovan continues to collect Sweet 16 Appearances.  Also the best of the Big 12 in the Kansas Jayhawks and Lead Man Bill Self. The Missouri Valley gets the Wichita State Shockers as the Shockers and Creighton were the two best Teams in the MVC in 2012-13. The LaSalle Explorers were almost joined by Temple of the A-10.

Then there is the Cinderella of all Cinderellas in the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles the Atlantic Sun Tourney Champs as Mercer was the Regular Season Champion of the A-Sun.

Conference Breakdown Sweet 16

Big 10...4
Big East...3
ACC...2
PAC 12...2

Big 12...1

Big 10 is capitalized on Seven Teams making the Tourney with four getting to the Sweet 16. As did the Big East with Eight Teams making the Tourney and three getting to the Sweet 16.
