SOUTH REGION Breakdown...NCAA Tourney is back and the SOUTH is where its at...ROCK CHALK is #1 Seed but here comes host of others #BracketTime

The Men's Division 1 Basketball Tourney is here and the Bluedude breaks down each bracket leading up to the Final Four. Just for starters the South Region could be a Top Tier Tourney all by its self with the amount of High Quality Teams in that Region. The Kansas Jayhawks get the #1 seed but after that it is tough sledding as all the 1st round and potential 2nd round match ups will be barn burners.

SOUTH Region

1 KANSAS
16 WKU

Kansas has two top 10 Picks in the 2013 NBA Draft which means nothing to the Hilltoppers of WJU but it does mean that the Jay Hawks have talent. Big 12 Tourney MOP Kansas Center Jeff Withey is a Shot-Block Machine and they have 2G Ben McLemore (pictured right). Hilltoppers PG TJ Price has game (#52 in your Program) and is from current Laker PG and Duke standout Chris Duhon's Slidell LA, Salmen HS.

8 UNC
9 'NOVA

The Heels get a tough seed and they have to play a Villanova Team coached by Jay Wright that is playing at their peak. Players to watch Tar Heels PF James McAdoo and SG PJ Hairston. For the 'Cats  they are led by Man-Child PF Jayvaughn Pinkston. The 2nd Round potential match up with Kansas will be really big whoever wins this one.    

5 VCU
12 AKRON

Shaka Smart has the infamous "Run and Jump" and he might have a Patent on it as the Zips need to get good guard play or it will be over quick. VCU is led by SG Treveon Graham and Javonte Reddic. The Zips are led by their Front Court of C Zeke Marshall and PF Demetrius Treadwell.

4 MICHIGAN
13 S. DAKOTA ST.

What happens when the Maize and Blue meet a Jack Rabbit? Well we will soo find out at the Rabbits have to contend with the Nation's #1 Lead Guard and Trey Burke (pictured right) and Bloodline Teammates SG Hardaway Jr. and Glenn Robinson Jr.

6 UCLA
11 MINNESOTA

The Bruins lose to the Quack Attack in the Pac 12 Tourney Final and lost Jordan Adams for the Season bu they have the Wear Twins, Drew III, and Bazz Muhammad. The Gophers flew under the Radar unless you watched Big Ten Hoops and they are Athletic and Big coached by a familiar name...Tubby Smith. This is a tough draw for the Bruins.

3 FLORIDA
14 NORTHWESTERN ST.

There is a reason why Billy Donovan Coached Teams always do well in the tourney he always had Elite Guard Play. This year is no different and then throw in PF Patric Young...Billy Ball from the Swamp will be in full effect.

7 SDSU
10 OKLAHOMA

The Aztecs are battle-tested but the Sooners held their own under New Coach Lon Krueger. This is an even match up that will high octane offense both ways. This is the 50/50 in the Bracket along with UNC/NOVA.

2 G'TOWN
15 FLA GULF COAST

The Hoyas are big and have excellent guard play. FGCU will have to contain Big East POY Otto Porter or it will be over before its starts.
