The Pittsburgh Steelers are now feeling like the Champion Baltimore Ravens as this New Free Agency Frenzy has Teams with Available Cap Space giving up Pick going the proven route. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Steelers Nation was shocked yesterday as Emmanuel "Go Go" Sanders 88 visited the New England Patriots and he has yet to sign an Offer Sheet from the Pats reported by News Outlets. Go Go is an integral part of the Steelers Offense moving forward as the Steelers lost Mike " Da Kid" Wallace which in hindsight is no biggie. If Sanders signs the Pats Offer Sheet and its front loaded the Steelers would be forced to match within a week or lose Sanders. Just like that the Steelers lose arguably the best young core of WRs on the NFL. The Steelers would be hard-pressed to match anything front-loaded and that's exactly what the Pats would do. If the the Steelers do not match Go Go's New Deal from Team Foxboro..the Steelers would be left with Antonio Brown, Jerricho Cotchery, and Plaxico Burress as their Top Three WRs going into 2013.
It is a wait n see game but the Steelers have no leverage in this one as the Patriots have all the Leverage and would this add to the Pats/Steelers Rivalry moving forward. I could see if Lead Man Whisenhunt was still in Red Zone always scanning the Steelers Roster to get more Steelers Players but Belichik is pulling a fast one here. At the end of the day...it's that one word everyone uses...Business.
