The American League East will be the Top-Heavy Division in the Show for 2K13 as any of the Five are capable at least on paper of winning the AL East and the AL Pennant. There are questions running through all five clubhouses as out the gate the Orioles and Rays might be the Favorites along with the New Blue Jays.

The AL EAST 2K13 Projections (in order)

x-Division Winner y-AL Wild card

1. x-Toronto BLUE JAYS #Jays....Yes these are not the Cito Gaston Early 90s Back to Back Chip Jays but they should be for real as the Jays Front Office went crazy at the MLB Winter Meetings and have helped the Bump and the Dish. They add Former NL MVP Jose Reyes (pictured right) from the Fish and then get R.A. Dickey and Mark Buerhle to the Starting Rotation along with Josh Johnson. If they can stay healthy and get the 2010 Jose Bautista to go with the 2012 Edwin Encarnacion...mover over Leafs and Dinosaurs.

2. y-Baltimore ORIOLES #Os....was that 93-win 2012 campaign a fluke as we will find out here shortly. They have an emerging Starting Staff to go with Big-Time Closer Jim Johnson. They are led in the Field by CF Adam Jones, Manny Machado, and JJ Hardy among others. Skip Showalter did a fabulous job with the Young Core and they have a chance as they are not too far from adding Top Prospect RHP Dylan Bundy the O's #1 Pick in 2011.

3. New York YANKEES #BronxBombers...This is a funny team to gauge as the Yanks always seem to find Players that go into Key Roles but they are officially on the Clock. No A-Rod but they don't need the 2012 A-Rod as they will never get the A-Rod that use to workout mad...Lol. Big Questions from Jeter to can Robbie Cano (pictured left) carry the Offensive Load. CF Curtis Granderson added to the Yanks Injured List breaking his forearm last week. Can the Yanks get an infusion of Young Guys to go with Team AARP...Pettitte, Jeter, Rivera, and Kuroda. GM Cashman has his hands full in 2K13 and if the Yanks make the Playoffs it will be a Surprise to may including inside the AL East.

4. Tampa Bay RAYS #Rays...They lost too much but decided to pay Hot Corner Evan Longoria and they will have to pay 2012 CY Young Winner David Price when he is up. What ever happened to that Staff anchored by Shields, Garza, and Kazmir? Rays OFs Ben Zorbrist and Matt Joyce will be in the 3 and 5 hole with Longoria in the middle and can they protect him as they will get pitches to hit.

5. Boston RED SOX #Carmines #BoSox..Ok it was on Skip Bobby V in 2012 and to this day I still don't know why they touched him as he is all the Things you don't want in a Manager and will be an excellent Athletic Director. Back to Bo Sox Biz they have to get good starting pitching and it will start with LHP Jon Lester and a lighter John Lackey you would hope. The Players that will have to carry the Carmines is Second Baseman Dustin Pedroia, DH Papi Ortiz, and CF Jacoby Ellsbury. The Red Sox look to be at least on paper the Team to have no shot of winning the AL East.

The Jays should win the AL East as they have addressed Starting Pitching and the Bullpen along with their Lineup. The O's are stacked with young talent and they have a little bit of Winning Time Experience. Yanks need a little bit of Luck as well as a Player or Two coming for nowhere to get in the mix. The Rays don't have enough horses and the Red Sox need Team Suds n Chicken back.
