New York Mets "Face of the Franchise" if anything else in RHP Matt Harvey dba "Dark Knight" has had better nights but coming off of an extended period of rest will benefit him down the stretch. The Philadelphia Phillies playing "Spoiler" at this juncture in the season gets hit early right in the "Chops" and didn't get up.

The Metropolitans beat the Phightin' Phils going away 9-4 but not after Phils starter Aaron Nola was hit with crooked three's in the 2nd and 3rd. That was compliments of two RBI doubles and two bombs. The one bomb by Ruben Tejada was an Inside-The-Park that scored two. Nola lasted four and took the "L" falling to 5-2. Tejada led the Mets Attack going 2 for 4 with four Ribbies.

The "Dark Knight" was cruising with a four frame shutout and in the 5th the Phightin' Phils hung three up on Harvey as an Erik Kratz two RBI double was the equalizer cutting that Mets lead in half to 6-3. The Amazins' came right back with one on the 5th and went onto win 9-4.

New York moves to 74-59 that is a full seven games over the 2nd place Washington Nationals. The Phightin' Phils playing your Uncle's Basement all season long falls to 53-81...c'mon #FlyEaglesFly as Philly Team Sports needs you step up in the worst way!
