The NBA is all about runs and stops and Teams know that. Having said that those same runs and stops are heightened even more in Winning Time as the Spurs took the lead in Game 3 and never looked back.

Behind Spurs Small Forward and King James App Virus Kawhi Leonard did it on both ends tonight in game 3. He made life miserable for LeBron and then scored a game-high 29 points on 10 of 13 from the field. Kawhi and the Spurs came out smoking as he had 10 of the Spurs first 18 points in the 1st frame. San Antonio led 41-25 after one and 71-50 at the break. The Heat in the 3rd frame got as close as seven by the score of 81-74 late in the 3rd but that would be as close as they got in this one. Spurs close on a 30-17 run late in the 3rd and in the 4th.

LeBron and Wade both net 22 points as the game was out of whack for most of the night. Spurs Starters out scored then Heat Starters 82-69. Spurs playing "Spurs Wars" ion this night also shot nearly 60% from the field and that will put you in the winner's circle on most nights. Heat committed 20 turnovers to the Spurs 12 and playing in front of the home folks is not a good look.
