The Hawks need not to be reminded of a Streak but rather how the Avs clearly out checked them and outplayed them at the Madhouse on Madison Last Wednesday Night. Only for the Hawks to come away with a W in Regulation with Game-Winning Goal inside of the last minute of the 3rd frame. Now the Hawks see the Avs after they get the home-Cooked Meal and drive their Whips to the Arena. The Hawks come off the MegaBus and out of the Motel to try to extend Point Streak to 25 Games. Madhouse on Madison HAWKS vs Mile High AVALANCHE

The Hawks have been thoroughly tested through their NHL Record 24-Game point Streak. Like most Streaks they must come to an end sooner or later but the Hawks keep playing and not worrying about streaks. Its all about Winning and winning your next game an that has been their approach.

They now face the a Team that will be a little over 48 hours removed from losing to the Hawks at 1901 West Madison. The Game Wednesday Night was at a super fast pace as the Avs youthfulness and Age came up big as they seemed to be a tad bit fresher than the Hawks. The Avs Game was simple..Dump and Chase then be extremely aggressive at the Blue Lines and it worked.

The Hawks should have Hossa, Shaw is Game-Time Decision, and Sharp has a Sprained Left Shoulder and they are saying 2-3 Weeks on him. The Avs come into Tonight's Game having won Three Straight at the Big 2-Liter and have six of their next Seven at the Pepsi Center and they have plenty of ground to make up.

Big Stat...and the Only Stat...Hawks 3.12 G/G Average as Opponents are 1.79 GA/G Average....Hawks D and Goal tending have been tremendous through 24 games and why stop now.
