The Chicago Blackhawks needed to get a win anyway they could on Thursday Night and the Bluejackets came right at the Hawks. Both Goalies played exceptional as the hawks are finding out that they are every ones Big Game.

Behind 29 saves from Hawks Net Minder Crawford and 39 save from Jackets Net Minder Bobvrosky the Game went into a shootout with the Hawks prevailing behind Stops by Crawford and Goals by Kane and Toews. The Defense was air tight in this one as it doesn't get any closer from a Checking Standpoint than it did tonight. The Jackets had less chances than the Hawks but they both played exceptionally well. The Hawks now move to 22-3-2 with an NHL Leading 47 points.

Switching gears to the Logo as the Spurs survive a furious rally from @Swish41 and Half Amazing/Half AARP VINcanity Carter's Shot at the Buzzer to beat the Mavs 92-91. The Spurs pick up their 50th Victory in the Logo (the 1st team to do that) and move 1 1/2 games above the Young Gunz OKC.

Led by Spurs Future HOF Tim Duncan's 28 points and 19 boards the Spurs are holding on without Star PG Tony Parker. Kawhi Leonard also chipped in with 12 points and 6 boards and Spurs Reserve Sharpshooter Gary Neal also added 16 points. The Mavs were led @Swish41 21 points and 11 boards. The Spurs ran into a Mavs Team that was quietly getting back into the West Playoff Race but this loss will set them back a little.  As we go to press the Mavs fall back to the #10 Seed and 3 games back of the #8 Lakers.
