The Minnesota Timberwolves quietly made a solid move upgrading their youthful front court with more youth. Team 10k Lakes traded an protected 1st round pick for the services of former Izzone's "House of Payne"  and multi-talented "Big" and Hawks 15th overall 2014 draft pick Adreian Payne.

Payne a shot-blocker with NBA money ball range with a nice mid-game in between was in cement on the Logo's #1 outfit the Atlanta Hawks. He just wasn't going to get any minutes behind all that talent the Hawks have in front of him and it's not old talent either.

"House of Payne" should fit in nicely with Nikola Pekovic and Gorgui Deng playing more of his natural slot at the power forward. There the 'Wolves and GM and lead man "Flip" Saunders can utilize Payne's offensive stretch 4 game and stretch the hardwood out for the 'Wolves "Bigs" to get more opportunities one on one it's not rocket science here!

He will be paired right away with 2013 #1 overall pick Anthony Bennnett giving the T'Wolves some young and athletic talent at the PF for years to come.

Note: Does this mean with the NBA Trade Deadline coming up current T'Wolves SF Thadddeus "Thad-Ex" Young will be moved as he will have some playoff suitors galore if he is out there?

#ItsTimeToHOWL....go 'Wolves Nation!
