#MAVS (36-19, 5th West) @ #THUNDER (28-25, 9th West)
8pm ET

Here we go with all kinds of action up top as NBA GMs and Execs try to improve their respective teams the Mavericks and Thunder help kickoff the back end of the 2014-15 season. The Dallas mavericks already grabbed their prize in the artist formerly known as S.T.A.T. in Knicks 8 Track Castoff Amare Stoudamire.

For Big D Hoops that completes the Suns Dynamic Trio of "NASHty" Steve Nash, the "Matrix" Shawn Marion, and S.T.A.T. having all played for the Mavs at some point in their career. As we go to press the Mavs are just four games back of the #2 slot in the West and word around DFW Metroplex and Deep Ellum Nightlife is Point God "Double R" Rajon Rondo is back for Team Shark Tank....shhhhhh!

The Thunder at 28-25 sitting 9th in the west 1.5 games back of the #8 seed Phoenix Suns there is plenty of work to do. Will they have a new "Big" like Nets Brooks Lopez who knows and be without PG Reggie Jackson that's a double-shot of who knows! I know this "Air Congo" Serge Ibaka is not anywhere near what they think he is and they need a dependable 3rd option and a #2 low-post presence...that would be Lopez right!

OKC's 2nd half drive starts tonight as they try to get in that 2-6 mix and that warrants OKC putting together a few 80% winning percentage months...real talk.

#SPURSfamily (34-19, 7th West) @ #newCLIPjoint (35-19, 6th West) 1030pm ET

Spurs are locked and loaded and they have the attention of not just the top teams in the west but in the east as well. They have made no major moves as they say, " If it ain't broke...don't fix it"!. The Spurs will get their first test right off the bat in L.A. at Staples playing a new-look Clips Team playing without "Game Night w/Blake" of Team Jordan Brand.

The Clips trying to somehow put pressure on the Pacific leading "Dubs All Day" of Warriors Ground and East Bay must worry about the four teams in front of them and the two behind them sitting at the #6 slot. DeAndre Jordan has stepped his game up but where do the Clips get Griffin's numbers from...DeAndre, Matt Barnes, and Jamal Crawford?

The Spurs will have the edge going into this one but the Clips have home court and this will be a solid contest right out the gate. Can "A Tribe called Clippers Bench" match up with the Spurs Family Bench?
