"One man's trash is another man's treasure" and for former Blackhawks Defensman Nick Leddy who was sent away by the Indian Head after the Kings game-winning goal ricochet off his jersey he landed in Long Island, New York looking for redemption.

Leddy has done that and then some in the 2014-15 season for the Isles with 25 points (8 goals, 17 assists) and a +10 on the season. @LedPipe08 for his 2014-15 play on line 1 inks a $38.5 million deal through 84 months 2021-22.  That line has propelled the Isles "D" alongside Johnny Boychuk (Boston Bruins) to new heights. Throw in All-Star Center John Tavares with LW Anders Lee and RW Josh Bailey the Boys from Nassau Coliseum soon to be the Bots from the Barclays have been cooking.

As we go to press the Isles at a robust 80 points (39-20-2 leading the Metropolitan Division) by two points over the rival Blue Shirts from World's Most Famous are in line to make a serious run towards the President's Trophy as well as the "Fight for Lord Stanley". Leddy at 23 years of age fits right in with that nucleus led by Mr. Tavares and the Indian Head can't keep everyone but they might have blown that one!
