This one had a mid-April feel to it with only 16 teams standing in the "Logo". The Atlanta Hawks coming in at a robust 42-9 leading the East met head on with the 37-13 Memphis Grizzlies holding their own in the West and leading the NBA Southwest.

The Atlanta Hawks led 43-42 at the break led by Jeff Teague's 9 points as then Grizz was led by All-Star Starting Center Marc Gasol's 8 points with Mike Conley adding six points. That point guard match up goes back to Indy where both Teague and Conley Jr. starred in High School.

After the break the Hawks and Grizz traded blows at the "Big Parcel Package" Fed Ex Forum. The Grizz running off the last four points of the framed 69-66 at the end of three. In the 4th the Spalding Money Ball Racks were pulled out as each team traded money balls as the Hawks Mike Smith, Kent Bazemore, and Kyle Korver all made three's. The Grizz Conley Jr. went Money ball x 2 along a money ball from Jeff Green as it came down to the last three minutes of the contest.

It was 86-86 with the "Highlight Factory" going stone cold and the Grit and Grind Grizz ending the game on a 8-2 run led by four from the charity stripe, a lay up, and a tip-in. The Grizz had four of five starters in double figures with Conley Jr. leading with 21 points and six assists.

The Hawks were led by Teague's 22 points and six helpers as he was Conley's equal on this day. The Hawks werr +27 from the arc but the Grizz was +25 in the painted-area and +9 from the stripe.

Memphis moves to 38-13 while the Hawks fall to 4210 hitting double digits in the "L" Column for the first time in the 2014-15 season...not bad at all for Atlanta!
