The Baylor Bears came into Phog Allen on Saturday Afternoon with one thing in mind and that was to get a win and nothing else. The young Jayhawks of KU struggled early but hung in their long enough to get an Alarm Clock Call from the Phog Allen Faithful to get a 74-64 hard earned win as Mass Street will get crackin' on Valentine's Day Night...trust me on that!

It was the Jayhawks trio of PF Perry Ellis (18 pts 6 rebs 6 asst), Combo Guard Wayne Selden Jr. (15 pts), and Wing Forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (18 pts , 4-6 3pt FG) that as the difference in this ball game. Looking at the Jayhawks Success even closer it will be those three players that will make or break a KU Final Four run it's that simple!

Power Forward and star Bear Rico Gathers (18 pts 8 rebs) wasn't enough as he has manhandled Baylor Opponents for the most part all season long. Baylor shooter Kenny Chery added 17 points as BU had their chances but it was too much depth that wore them down as KU played bigger along the wings and at guard.  KU's 24 for 29 from the stripe was also monumental in their "W" as Mass Street can have a Happy Valentine's Day" 2K15.

KU moves to 21-4 overall and 10-2 in the Big 12. The Baylor Bears fall to 18-7 overall and 6-6 in the Big 12 with work still to do to build its "March Madness" Resume!
