The Oklahoma State trying to keep their NCA Tourney hopes alive gets a huge "W" as the Cowboys erase an eleven point deficit to up end the #8 Kansas Jayhawks  67-62. The Cowboys did it former Big Mac and 5-Star recruit LeBryan Nash from Dallas, Texas Powerhouse Dallas Lincoln HS finally living up to some of his billing with a game-high 18 points (8-9 FT).

The Jayhawks had a solid 1st half  getting out to a 41-30 lead at the break and at one point leading 30-16 with just over six minutes to go. It was Nash along with former Flower Mound, Texas Marcus HS Star Phil Forte (current Boston Celtics Marcus Smart best friend and HS Teammate at Marcus HS) leading the way. Forte wasn't even suppose to play with flu-like symptoms before the contest and 2nd in the Big 12 in scoring at 17.1 ppg trailing only Boomer Sooners Buddy Giueld 17.7 ppg.

Forte added 13 to Nash's 18 as it was Forte's money ball that gave the Stillwater Cowboys the lead 44-42 before KU took the lead 47-44 right before the TV Timeout behind a Wayne Selden Jr. money ball. KU would score just six point under the five minute mark going stone cold. The problem Freshman Standout Kelly Oubre Jr. only getting a point and shooting 0 for 3 from the field.

Oklahoma State went onto win 67-62 with Kansas being led by Selden Jr's 15 points with three players with ten points. KU falls to 8-2 in the Big 12 while the Cowboys move to 7-5.
