Yes Blackhawks Nation let me know the next time the Blackhawks meet the Avs and the Bluedude will be cool if Russian Net Minder Semyon Varlamov isn't in the blue paint. The Hawks if they see the Russian Stud in net in the "Fight for Lord Stanley" lookout Hawks Nation we might be in big big trouble.

Varlamov brought all his cast and crew for the Hawks to start in "From Russia with Love" and the Indian Head takes another "L" at the Madhouse as they might have the same thing the Bulls have playing at 1901 West Madison on the West Side of the 'Go!

The Avs struck in the 1st for the only goal from Tyson Barrie for a 1-0 lead. The Hawks hanging right in the gets goal #12 from Kris Versteeg in the 2nd frame tying the game at 1-1. From there though it was all downhill in the 3rd.

With Varlamov facing 17 SOG through the first two periods and Corey Crawford 21 SOG the game was even steven. The Avs a little over midway through the 3rd gets back to back power play goals from Gabriel Landeskog and Barrie his 2nd of the night within 24 seconds of one another for an Avs 3-1 lead....ball game.

Avs add goal #4 two and half minutes after that goal and the Avs get a 4-1 win as the Hawks need to hit the reset button for Sunday's match up with the struggling Spokes of Bean Town. Avs took full advantage of the power play going 2 for 3 as the Indian Head goes 0 for 2.

Russian Royalty Varlamov stops 27 of 28 SOG while "Craw-Dad" stops 26 of 30. Hawks stay 75 points falling to 35-19-5 as the Avs at 25-21-6 at 61 points still last in the Central.

Hawks vs Spokes Sunday February 22nd at 330pm ET from the Madhouse...
