The Mississippi State Bulldogs had their shot and you know they have had this one circled on the schedule. Looking at UK on tape is probably quite impressive but getting them "Live" in your gymnasium...not a real good look!

The Kentucky Wildcats moves to an impressive 28-0 overall and 15-0 in the SEC as they beat up the Mississippi State Bulldogs dba Stark Vegas 74-56. The Bulldogs gave a great effort like the other 27 teams before them but Kentucky just way too talented and deep.

UK leading 36-27 at the break came out rather flat in the first two to three minutes leading by only five points at 39-34. UK Freshman and maybe their most talented player in Trey Lyles led UK with 13 points at the break and 18 points for the game. It was UK's size and athleticism up front talking Willie Cauley-Stein and Karl-Anthony Towns that sent "Stark Vegas" to places unknown.

Both UK "Bigs" had thunderous Alley-Opp Dunks looking like a Nerf-Rim was put up as the 'Cats closes after that 39-34 lead on a 40-22 run. Aaron Harrison had 16 points and Devin Booker 14 points with Towns adding 12 points and ten boards. UK shot nearly 50% from the field and a sizzling 92% from the stripe.

State with hardly no size was led by Fred Thomas' 14 points and Craig Sword's 10 points as the only two Bulldogs in double figures. UK held "Stark Vegas" to 37% from the field and under 20% from the arc.

The #BBN will now get the 2nd best team in the SEC behind them in a Mike Anderson coached "Woo Pig Sooie" Bunch from Arkansas on Saturday February 28th at Rupp...hold on tight!
