It just came down to players making plays or not making the play not necessarily the shot to win the game. The Arizona Wildcats leave the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah with a 63-57 hard-fought "W" as there were plenty of opportunities for both teams to go either way in this one.

With neither team leading by more than six points all night long it was the Runnin' Utes with under two minutes remaining getting a money ball from sharp-shooting guard Brandon Taylor breaking up a 55-54 Arizona lead making it 57-55 Utes. That lead at the 1:57 mark in the 2nd half would be the last time unfortunately for Utah they would score as the Wildcats close out on a 8-0 run capped off by Gabe York and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson combining for the 8 points for a final of 63-57 "Desert Swarm" Hoops .

Utah had plenty of chances to stay in the game let alone get the lead and as they missed a few shots and Taylor even missed a bunny late that would have cut the lead to one with under 15 seconds remaining.

Arizona was led by Taleb Tarczewski's 13 points and six boards with York and Freshman Stanley "Stanimal" Johnson each netting a dozen as Johnson also hauled in eleven boards. Hollis_Jefferson added 10 points and eight rebounds as "Desert Swarm" Hoops moves to 14-2 in the Pac-12 and 26-3 overall.

The 'Utes fall to 12-4 in PAC-12 play and 22-6 overall as they were led by Delon Wright's game-high 17 points and five assists and five boards. Jordan Loveridge added 10 points and six boards with Taylor netting 8 points including two huge money balls late.

You should see this act again in Sin City home of the 20125 PAC-12 Tourney...
