Here they come and before you fill out your "March Madness" Brackets you need to know about the Toast of the M.V.C. starring the Wichita State Wheat Shocker and the Northern Iowa Panthers. And High School recruits not endorsing neither one but it would be  nice landing slot for that Kid that is a High-Major on the board looking to do damage right away.

As we go to press the Shockers (25-3, 15-1 MVC) and Panthers (26-2, 15-1) are in a dead heap to see which team can garner as high as a #2 seed if not a #3 seed. Both have ran right through the M.V.C. and have been playing lights out since the season tipped.

The Wheat Shockers having made a run last season and took the #BBN dba Kentucky Wildcats to the brink of elimination has a back court that arguably is the best in the country in PG Fred VanFleet (12.4 ppf 5.3 apg 4.4 rpg) and Ron Baker (15.6 ppg 4.4 rpg) as both will be in the Logo.

The Panthers are no-names but they have a monster in senior PF Seth Tuttle (15.8 ppg 6.5 rpg) who leads them in scoring and rebounding. How balanced is that Panthers Attack they have eight played averaging at least 4.9 ppg and nine players averaging at least 13 minutes per outing. All nine also can shoot the three which means that painted-area when you play them is wide-open as they spread you out.

UNI beat the Wheat Shockers 70-54 on January 31st and they will meet in the last game of the M.V.C. Season this week February 28th in Wichita with that NCAA Tourney Committee all over this one.

Can the Panthers or Shockers beat the Kentucky's, Wisconsin's, and Arizona's of the NCAA March Madness Powerhouses World that I don't know. Can they play with anyone...you dawg gone right they can and if you see them in your bracket you might want to pencil these two M.V.C. Powerhouses into the Sweet 16 regardless of who is in their way.
