It wasn't picture perfect but in league play getting a "W" off the charter versus anyone is a good days work. The Duke Blue Devils exercising those Donald L. Tucker Arena Demons in Tallahassee, Florida stars in "Escaping Fear the Spear" as they get by the Leonard Hamilton led 'Noles 73-70.

It was Duke Senior Quinn Cook from famed AAU Squad D.C. Assault that led all scorers with 26 points including 6 for 7 from the stripe adding to his 92% from stripe in the 2014-15 season. Freshman PG Tyus Jones with "NBA Game" added 16 points and waited on a dozen Duke Tables (12 assists) as over 25 NBA Scouts looked on.

The Other Duke Freshman Jahlil "Big Jah" Okafor (13 pts 4 rebs) and Justise Winslow (10 pts 5 rebs) were impressive as Winslow looks more and more like a mix between Red Nation's James Harden and former UNLV All-American Stacey "Spider-Man" Augmon from Pasadena, California Muir H.S.. The Dukies survived shooting 20 of 26 from the stripe.

The 'Noles having an off-season under lead man Leonard Hamilton as help is on the way with the #10 Recruiting Class nationally of 2015 highlighted by 2015 McDonald's All-American SF Dwayne Bacon of Oak Hill Academy, VA. F.S.U. never went away but just couldn't make that "Play" to get past the Dukies and take control of the game or "Pace" of the game.

Florida State was led by Devon Bookert's team-high 23 points as he was 3 for 4 from deep. The 'Noles mirrored the Dukies almost in every statistical category except from the stripe where they were -5 in attempts and makes.

The Blue Devils move to 8-3 in the ACC and 21-3 on the season. The 'Noles fall to 5-7 in the ACC and 13-12 overall...
