All of a sudden for those in Spurs Community and in Clutch City we have a race in the Southwest Division and Houston..We have no Problems! With the Spurs taking an "L" in the Motor City the Rockets with a win could move within two games of the Spurs and that is huge news with the All-Star Break looming.
The Rockets get 20 points from SF Chandler Parsons and 18 points and fifteen boards from Dwight Howard as the Rockets run away from the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 4th frame for a 107-89 final. The Rockets only up 82-78 after three ride Parsons and Howard to victory. All-Star James Harden added 19 points, five assists, and five boards as the Rockets used a + 15 margin from the Arc and a surprising 18 for 20 from the line. Dwight was 4 for 5 and take that Hack-A-Dwight Supporters.
The 'Wolves get 31 and 10 from the Logo's only Loch Ness-Type Monster the "Lake Oswego Monster" Kevin Love. Chase Budinger the Starting Shooting Guard added 15 and grabbed seven boards as he and K.L. were the only two 'Wolves in double figures. Minnesota's inability to shoot the Deep Ball and terrible shooting from the field put them in the Loser's Circle in this one. Now Minnesota is even further away from that elusive .500 mark at 24-28. The Rockets move to 35-17 as they move to two games back of the Spurs as we have a surprise fight in the Southwest kinda sorta...
