A Tale of two teams and two half's as the Grizz blow a 45-27 late in the 2nd frame only to find themselves down eight late in the 4th frame as the Knicks came all the way back behind the "Bully" and S.T.A.T.. In the end it came down to the Grizz making a ply or two and a Money Ball Dagger from "M and M" Plain dba Mike Miller with shots fired at Knicks Tape!
The Grizz gets 22 points and a nice floor game from one of the best kept secrets in the Logo in PG Mike Conley Jr.. Miller comes out of the Pen to net 19 including five from the "Land of Plenty". Z-Bo manning the paint goes 13 and eight quietly with Gasol adding 8 points, seven boards, and four helpers. The Grizz let that leads slip over a period and half as the Knicks were going to make a run. The Grizz have what most do not have in their back pocket...Grit & Grind "D" doing it 24-Hour Lock down Shoe Program.
The Knicks took the lead with Bloodline Hardaway Jr. hitting a Money Ball with just over a minute to go to make it 93-91 Knicks tape. The Knicks never scored again as the Grizz score the last seven including the Dagger from Miller. Hardaway Jr. led NYK with 23 points on 7 of 15 from the field and 4 for 9 behind the line! 'Melo added 22 points on just 8 of 22 with S.T.A.T. adding 12 and six boards as the Knicks shoot 22% from the Arc. It's a common theme for the 2013-14 Knicks as winning close ball games has not been in the deck of Knicks Tape Cards.
The Grizz making a huge run in the West move to 30-23 and the Knicks fall to 20-33 as that run back into the Atlantic Division Race Window is almost shut. That brings up the question why would the Raptors trade PG Kyle Lowry when they are leading the Atlantic? Rondo should be the guy as Trader Danny of the C's will strike out of nowhere.
