The Kansas Jayhawks needed a game like this one as this will prepare you for that nail-biting Month of Stomach Aces as it wet down to the wire in Lubbock, Texas. The Red Raiders seemingly having the game in their control at 59-55 gets the lead cut to one by KU Freshman Wayne Selden Jr. with 2:35 remaining. Both Teams then trade back an forth as the Red raiders make two free throws to make it 63-62 with 12 seconds left.

KU Top Freshman Andrew Wiggins gets the game-winner on a lay-up with three seconds remaining as KU wins 64-63 as Lubbock Country was shocked. Wiggins gets a game-high 19 points as he grabbed a half a dozen Oranges. KU's other Freshman Joel Embiid added 18 and corralled eight Oranges with a block. Those were the only two KU players in double figures on a night where "Stops" and Execution superseded everything else ditto March Madness. KU won the game with a 30 to 14 Free Attempts advantage as they attacked the rim more and stayed aggressive.

Jordan Tolbert led Texas Tech with 16 and six boards while he led five Red Raiders in double figures.       Robert Turner made play after play down the stretch as KU did not have an answer for him defensively as he ended up with 11 points. Not getting to the line enough and settling for too many "J's" hurt Tech as that 30-14 Advantage from the stripe and your the Home Team should not happen.

The Jayhawks move to 20-6 and 11-2 in the Big 12 while the Red Raiders fall to 5-8 in the Big 12 and 13-13 overall.
