If you asked Knicks All-Star SF Carmelo Anthony what his favorite Smoothie is he would most likely tell you I only drink them in the Big Easy. The Pelicans get put on the "Bully" Watch and there are no Winners on that Watch!

The Knicks needed all of Carmelo Anthony's 13 points in the last seven plus minutes of the game to get by the New Orleans Pelicans 98-91. Knicks Tape led 53-47 at the break and extended that lead to 78-70 after three frames only to see NOLA make a furious run from Luke Babbit and Austin Rivers. It was just too much 'Melo in the end as he hits the Smoothie King Center for 42 points on 16 of 29 from the field. 'Melo just had 31 on Sunday at the All-Star Game. Both "Get Shots" J.R. (19 pts) and Bloodline Hardaway Jr. (16 pts) combined to shoot 6 for 10 from the Arc. The Knicks Money Ball and only committing nine turnovers put the check mark in the win column.

The Pelicans get a team-high 28 points from Eric Gordon and yes he still plays in the NBA and for the Pelicans. Just imagine two years ago when the Suns signed him to that Max Contract Offer Sheet and NOLA matched it and if they didn't...Wow! All-Star Anthony Davis had 14 points, grabbed ten boards, and blocked five shots as Austin Rivers also had 14. NOLA just could not hit shots and then in the crunch could do nothing when the "Bully" stepped into Lunch Line Mode.

The Knicks move to 21-33 and they still have a legitimate shot at running down both the Nets and Dinosaurs in the Atlantic. The Pelicans fall to 23-30 as they have to be shopping Eric Gordon.
