Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers knew what we didn't know on Draft Day 2K13 as they traded then Sixers 2012-13 All-Star PG Jrue Holiday to the Pelicans for the rights to Kentucky's Nerlens Noel. Doing so Philly still had the #11 Pick Overall and this is where things get a little bit questionable.

The Sixers having traded Jrue Holiday needed a PG and at #11 with Trey Burke going to T'Wolves (Later Draft Day Trade to Jazz) at #9 and C.J. McCollum going to Rip City at #10 they were the first two PGs off the draft Board. The Sixers then pick 'Cuse Sophomore Michael Carter-Williams and the rest is history.

Carter-Williams now known to many in the Logo as M.C.W. has dazzled in his 1st season in the NBA. His 1st career game on NBA Opening Night he hit the Miami Heat and King James with 22 points, seven boards, twelve assists, and nine steals for a Sixers 114-110 "W". He has slowed since with a few nagging injuries but he is entering rare air in the Logo if his numbers keep up.

As of right now M.C.W. leads all Rookies in Points (17.1 ppg), Rebounds (5.4 rebs), and Assists (6.5). If he keeps these numbers through the 2013-14 season he will join Magic Johnson (Lakers), Oscar Robertson (Cincinnati Royals), and LeBron James (Cavs) as the only NBA Rookies to lead Rooks in all three categories. The former St. Andrews School (MA) HS Star by way of Syracuse is something special and Philly might not be having a good season by any stretch. What they do have is      the right players with that #11 Pick in the 2013 NBA Draft....M.C.W..
